Cat Lift Trucks websites
Our brief
Design and build two content-managed websites. The public facing site needs to be a multi-lingual site to host a variety of products, with a lift truck selector and lead management system. The Dealer Support Site needs to be password protected and offer the Cat dealers all the marketing materials required to sell lift trucks.
The solution
The CMS (Content Management System) we chose is Drupal, and we delivered a public website capable of hosting several languages, a lead management system to forward queries to the relevant people, a lift truck selector updated automatically when new products are added, and much more. The PS is a fully responsive site that allows easy browsing across devices.
We maintain and update the public facing website on a regular basis to offer our online audience the best experience and the most up to date truck information in 7 languages.
The Dealer Support Site has been created to assist Cat dealers and distributors in marketing their products and services. The website provides a vast amount of information and has been carefully organised to present this information in an intuitive and easy-to-find way. It contains a huge library of sales and product literature which can be ordered through a built-in shop. The DSS is a fully responsive e-commerce site that allows easy browsing across devices. It also features a Notifications system that sends alerts to site users whenever new content is added.
The site is built in the latest Drupal version and has several layers of access control which not only secure the content from public access, but also display only relevant parts of the site based on the user’s position within their dealership and the region a dealer is from.
